Laelia anceps From the high elevations of Central Mexico, this classic-lavender, fall-blooming, hardy outdoor grower has become one of our favorites at SBOE. Naturalizes beautifully into a garden specimen mounted on a tree, or may be hung in a basket or potted as well. (Unless they are being divided, these really don't need repotting. We simply set a small pot with the original bark in successively larger pots, only with air around the roots.) Has been known to take temperatures as low as 22F. Temperature Tolerant. Winter blooming. Species from Mexico.
