From the high elevations of Central Mexico, this classic-lavender, fall-blooming, hardy outdoor grower has become one of our favorites at SBOE. Naturalizes beautifully into a garden specimen mounted on a tree, or may be hung in a basket or potted as well. (Unless they are being divided, these really don't need repotting. We simply set a small pot with the original bark in successively larger pots, only with air around the roots.) Has been known to take temperatures as low as 22F. Temperature Tolerant.
