For hardiness and willingness to bloom it is hard to beat this species from Brazil and Argentina. Flowers are 3 to 4” across and are lavender in color with magenta on the lip. Its compact growth habit makes it well suited for growing as a mount or in a pot. Known to take temperatures from the mid 20s up to 100 degrees. Temperature Tolerant. April - May blooming. Species from Brazil and Argentina.

Cattleya Quinquecolor
A cross between two compact growing Brazilian bifoliate cattleyas, forbesii and acklandiae. Both these species have a habit of producing and flowering sequential multiple leads a year. All seedlings from this cross to bloom thus far have had an amber-green base color with red dotting on the tepals and amethyst over white lip markings. Overall plant height is around 12”. Temperature Tolerant. May-June blooming.
