| Australian Midnight 'Santa Barbara' - Near-black fragrant cascading - Limited |
| Cymbidium Australian Midnight 'Tinonee', HCC/AOS When awarded two years ago, judges described the color of this cultivar as "nearly black-oxblood". This hybrid comes from the primary crossing of Cymbidiums atropurpureum and canaliculatum. Passed down from the former is a nice coconut-oil fragrance. Flower spike habit is cascading. We have managed to flower these out alongside our standard cymbidiums but have had better success in the intermediate house with the cattleyas. Orchid of the Day: July 7, 2010 |
| Temperature Tolerant July - August blooming
| Prices start at $150.00 |
| Cymbidium Autumn Green 'Geyserland', HCC/AOS A fine intermediate sized fall blooming variety. Due to the species ensifolium in its background, this cymbidium should also do well for growers in southern states. Orchid of the Day: August 3, 2010 |

| Ayako Tanaka 'Columbia' - Early white - $25.00 |
| Cymbidium Ayako Tanaka 'Del Rey' Most of the fall blooming Cymbidiums have Peter Pan somewhere in their family tree. Not so with this one. This cross, registered in 1967 by Dos Pueblos Orchid Company, mates the miniature chinese species, ensifolium with the most famous standard of all time, Alexanderi 'Westonbirt'. The result is a charming, lightly scented, free blooming miniature. The flower color is cream, lightly dusted with burgundy in the center, and a lip heavily dusted/dotted with bugundy.
